The gaming operator Fortuna Entertainment Group has formed a new collaboration with the platform provider Playtech in a move that is aimed at consolidating Fortuna’s position in the Central and Eastern European gaming markets

Playtech will be providing Fortuna with a multiple channel platform that will allow it to implement its growth strategies with a customisable solution for all of its gaming and sports betting activities.  Playtech is a provider of Costa bingo sister sites, as well as many of the leading online casinos.

This latest collaboration follows on from a similar agreement which saw Playtech supply software for Fortuna’s launch into the newly regulated Romanian gaming market.

The technology provided by Playtech includes seamless online wallet technology and customer management tools which will allow gamers to play across all available channels and verticals, as well as increase the operator’s chances to retain their players.

This new agreement sees the two businesses expand their relationship to cover the Czech, Polish and Slovakian gaming markets, with scope to move into new regulated territories as and when they become available.

Mr Per Widerström, who acts in the role of Chief Executive at Fortuna, has said that the new partnership between the two would help his company achieve its goal to become the leading multiple channel and multiple product operator in regulated Central and Eastern Europe gaming markets.

Mr Widerström went on to explain that the new platform provided by Playtech’s would be of great benefit to Fortuna as due to its flexibility and ability to be scaled to different needs.

Mr Mor Weizer, who acts in the role of Chief Executive at Playtech, spoke of the two’s successful recent move into Romania which he believes augers well for any future expansion opportunities.

Mr Weizer also said Playtech was looking forward to entering the Czech, Polish and Slovakian gaming markets with Fortuna as well as exploring potential newly regulated markets as they become available.
